The Western Australian Law Teachers’ Review (WALTR) is an independent, peer-reviewed, open-access journal for scholarship on legal education.
WALTR publishes research from Western Australia and beyond. As a particular priority, the journal seeks to support the publication of research presented at the annual Western Australian Teachers of Law Conference.
All articles published in the journal can be accessed freely on this website, and are also available via AustLII and Informit. WALTR is independently recognised as a quality academic journal through its inclusion in the 2025 Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC) Journal Quality List.

Deadline for submitting a manuscript to WALTR.
JUNE-AUGUST 2026
Authors advised of outcomes and make any necessary amendments.
